Mode 2: Rotates clockwise, 2 minutes on, 6 minutes off, then repeats.
Mode 3: Rotates counter-clockwise, 2 minutes on, 6 minutes off, then repeats.
Mode 4: Bidirectional; rotates 2 minutes clockwise, 6 minutes off, 2 minutes counterclockwise, then resumes after 6 minutes.
Mode 5: Rotates clockwise for 5 minutes then counter-clockwise for 5 minutes, for 3 hours, rests for 9 hours, and then repeats the cycle.

On average, an automatic watch needs 600 revolutions per day. The older your watch, the more revolutions per day it will need. When your watch is new, 500 revolutions a day is more than sufficient.

So your watch will stay on time all year round, and be ready to wear at any time.
